*Please note that we will close at 1pm on weekdays in July.

Since we are an entirely volunteer-run organization, it is a good idea to call first (412-682-4430) to verify that we are open. Sometimes – especially during flu and cold season – we have to close because a volunteer was not available.

• We are closed for major holidays.
• We follow the Pittsburgh public schools schedule for closings and delays.
• In "extreme winter weather" conditions, listen for school closings on local radio or TV stations. It's also a good idea to call to confirm that we'll be open, since the opening volunteer may be running late or may not be able to come.
• We are closed part of August for summer cleaning and re-open after Labor Day.
• We are closed the first Saturday of each month for the PTLL Board Meeting.

We're located in Shadyside at 5401 Centre Avenue – in the rear of the First United Methodist Church. The nearest major intersection is South Aiken and Centre Avenues. We are just minutes from Friendship, East Liberty, Squirrel Hill, Swissvale, Lawrenceville and Oakland.

Parking is available for free. Parking permits are available at our front desk upon arrival.

FROM THE EAST END/ EAST SUBURBS
• At the end of the I-376 off-ramp, turn right onto S. Braddock
• Continue 1.5 miles, then turn left onto Penn Ave.
• Continue 1 mile, then turn left onto Fifth Ave.
• Continue 1 mile, then turn right onto South Negley Ave.
• Continue 1/2 mile, then turn left onto Centre Ave. and proceed approximately 2.5 blocks.
• The entrance to the PTLL parking lot will be on the right, directly past the entrance to Wendy's.

FROM THE NORTH HILLS/ NORTHSIDE
• Take I-279 South toward Pittsburgh
• Follow the signs to I-376 East (toward Monroeville)
• Take Exit 2A (Forbes Ave.) and continue on Forbes for 1.5 miles
• Turn left onto Morewood and continue to Centre Ave.
• Turn right onto Centre and proceed approximately three blocks
• The entrance to the PTLL parking lot will be on the left, just before the entrance to Wendy's.

FROM THE SOUTH HILLS
• Take the Liberty Bridge toward the Boulevard of the Allies
• Take Exit 2A (Forbes Ave.) and continue on Forbes Ave. for 1.5 miles
• Turn left onto Morewood and continue to Centre Ave.
• Turn right onto Centre and proceed approximately three blocks
• The entrance to the PTLL parking lot will be on the left, just before the entrance to Wendy's.

FROM THE PARKWAY WEST CORRIDOR
• Take the Parkway West inbound to Exit 2A (Forbes Ave.)
• Continue on Forbes Ave. for 1.5 miles
• Turn left onto Morewood and continue to Centre Ave.
• Turn right onto Centre and proceed approximately three blocks
• The entrance to the PTLL parking lot will be on the left, just before the entrance to Wendy's.
